Long story short have a currently predicament with either buying Hemlock or Solis. Both have their pros and cons and I want your guy’s point views on both Mechas. Thank you! @varz

Hemlock is better in 1v1 and small engagements, especially modes like Hangar Showdown. Its ability creates sustained pressure, forcing opponents to either take damage or reposition. That makes it very strong in duels, corner fights, and situations where enemies don’t have teammates to help them disengage. Hemlock rewards smart positioning and timing rather than pure aggression.

Solis, on the other hand, shines in group fights. Its ability disrupts multiple enemies at once, which makes it more impactful when teams are clustered on objectives. It’s better for coordinated pushes, breaking enemy setups, and creating openings for teammates. Solis depends more on team momentum, while Hemlock can carry fights alone.

Simple breakdown:

  • Hemlock = stronger in 1v1, duels, and Hangar Showdown
  • Solis = stronger in team fights and objective modes

If you like controlled fights and outplaying opponents individually, pick Hemlock.

If you play with team coordination and group pressure, Solis brings more value.

@varz Ok thank you! I’ll most likely grab Hemlock first since it seems like my builds with Overdrivers do just the trick for support. Also Hemlock could possibly help with locking down Deathwalkers, Surges, Eclipses, and Nomads in a team setting. And also help with those mechas which are a struggle for my hanger. However I will get Solis after Hemlock. Thank you on the insite!

@varz Well put together. I couldn't have said it better myself. I had the same thoughts close to what you mentioned just not as detailed.
